#GBBO Batter week — Bounty Waffles

I know.  They didn’t make waffles on #GBBO last week, even though it was batter week.  They did churros (we don’t have a deep fat fryer), filled Yorkshires (I didn’t have time) or lacy pancakes (yeah, can you imagine me, the heavy handed one trying to make lace pancakes?!).     Nope if I am making batter, I am making waffles.

They take minutes to make and if you make the batter by putting all your ingredients in a high speed blender like the Nutri Ninja it takes even less time.   Literally put your ingredients in the jug, follow the instructions, and seconds later you have  the perfect consistency batter with no lumps.

The possibilities for mixing up with this batter with other ingredients is endless but since I love my waffles with coconut oil in rather than butter I thought that I would extend that flavour and add some cocoa to the flour for a full blown Bounty Waffle.   Here is the recipe
