My Final 2012 Post

I am not a huge fan of New Year`s Eve.   All that looking back over the past 12 months and reflecting whilst looking forward to the next is so not me.   It is depressing, quite frankly.   Because the things that happened in 2012 that upset me could well happen again in 2013.    And I don’t want to start a new year with huge expectations of “This will be my year” etc as that has always led to a mighty fall.

Not being over dramatic, just being pragmatic.   Would rather shuffle out of one year and bumble in to the next one without all that singing and dancing.

So I am just going to say thank you for sticking around and being so loyal to this little corner of the web.  2012 WAS a big year for MummyBarrow as page views grew, invites to events started it transferred to its own .com address.

And it looks as though 2013 is going to start with an enormous bang. I can`t tell you more yet but by God I will be in a month.    Watch this space on January 31st.

Until then I leave you with one of my favourite pictures from 2012

Welcome to MummyBarrow. I am a slightly bonkers mum of three, wife to one. Never really sitting still as there is always so much to do! This is my bit of the web to get things out of my head and where I hope to make you laugh or think. I don't really talk about my children too much as they can Google themselves but I do talk about family life. And juggling. Oh and food and drink. I talk about those a lot. So do pull up a chair, grab a biscuit and have a rummage.

I am just catching up on my reading after a well earned (if I say so myself) couple of weeks off – this just cheered me right up! It’s one of my faves EVER (obviously).

Have a fab 2013 my lovely lady! Hope I get to see you soon!!
