Bechamel sauce (I made my own but you can buy it if you like)
2 slices of ham
1 slice of cheese (gruyere if you can get it)
Instructions
Break off two triangles of croissant dough, trying not to split the two triangles apart, in fact push the two long edges together so you have a square with no holes in the middle
Cut to fit the space in your waffle machine, in ours that means taking off about an inch to make it a proper square
Place in hot waffle machine and close the lid, letting it cook for about 2½ to 3 minutes, or until golden brown
Pour in some bechamel sauce so it pools in the holes made by the waffle machine
Add the ham, you can shred it a bit if you want to be super fancy
Place cheese on top
Close lid and heat for 10 seconds, no more or you will be scraping it all off the machine and not putting it in your mouth.
