Easy apple ice cream (though it contains raw egg so not suitable for those who are to avoid raw egg)

Ingredients
  • A quantity of apple sauce (preferably home made)
  • A teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 cups of double cream
Instructions
  1. Put the eggs, egg yolks and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix until light and fluffy
  2. Add cream, apple sauce and cinnamon
  3. Stir until all completely blended and smooth
  4. Put in ice cream machine and follow manufacturers instructions or
  5. Place in freezer container and stir every hour until frozen
  6. Serve with crumbled biscuits such as ginger nuts on top
