{AD} Sweet Hamper Company — a review

When I get approached to review a company I always do a bit of research into them first to see what customers have said. It feels slightly disingenuous if my one order was a success and I rave about them but there’s a trail of unhappy clients leaving reviews on TrustPilot or Google. I dont really want to be recommending something when others have been disappointed.

I was pleased, therefore, to see that reviews for Sweet Hamper Company were all glowing and said how great the customer service was, how well filled the hampers are, how good the selection of sweets is and how prompt the deliveries had been. Excellent I thought, and I replied to the email saying I would love to tell you, my lovely readers, about this great company and how you might consider them in the future.

A few days later I was amazed when a beautiful little hamper arrived, well packaged, and brimming with a selection of sweets. Even when the sweets are all gone the hamper will be useful for storage, or refilling and gifting again. I do like a gift that keeps on giving, don’t you?

In their own words:

Welcome to the Sweet Hamper Company – the one stop shop for all goodies, treats and candies. Our delectable array of sweet hampers, boxes, cones, bouquets and more include everything from pick ‘n’ mix, retro sweets and American classics, right though to chocolate hampers and other favourites – and everything in between

The site has various boxes and hampers filled with just chocolate, just sweets, or a mix of the two. You can even get one that is full of vegan or vegetarian sweets. If you are looking for a gift there are hampers for each decade too, so want to send a birthday present for somebody born in the 60s, you can and it is packed with sweets that were “must haves” back then. Or if you are looking for a gift for children, how perfect would this be?

Prices start from less than £10 for a letterbox friendly box of sweets up to £194 for two colossal hampers that would make the most incredible family present or corporate gift, and all hampers can be personalised. Plus there is free delivery for all orders over £50.

I have now passed our hamper and its sweets on to a local fundraising event for them to raffle off in order to raise funds for a young man called Tyler who faces a number of challenges and needs an electronic wheelchair. As I said, I do like a gift that keeps on giving and this one will, hopefully, make a great raffle prize this weekend.
