How to spend a long weekend in Dubai with the kids

Dubai is a destination that has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years and it is now one of the major tourist destinations in the world and one which is constantly developing. It is often associated with the rich and global elite, and while you certainly will find them here, it has also become much more affordable which makes it a great place to take the kids for a long weekend.

Here are a few child-friendly attractions that are worth checking out which won’t break the bank.

Go Up the Burj Khalifa

You can’t come to Dubai without going to the top of the Burj Khalifa and taking in the incredible views. This is the tallest building in the world at a staggering 829.8 meters so it is an amazing experience and one which is perfectly safe and easy because you can take in the views from inside the building.

Legoland & Water Park

With over 40 themed rides along with various shows and attractions, kids love Legoland Dubai and it can be a fun day out for the whole family, plus the waterpark next door has over 20 waterslides which can be a great way to beat the heat while having fun at the same time.

Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall is the biggest in the entire world so this is another space where you can easily spend a few hours and there are many highlights for kids. Most notably, this includes KidZania which is an “edutainment centre” where kids can earn a currency that they can then spend on themselves.

Dubai has many manmade beaches and these can be great and affordable places to take the kids for the day. You can sunbathe and read a book while they splash in the calm, shallow water and play games.

This incredible waterpark is an incredible place to visit with something for all ages. There are plenty of thrilling rides and waterslides, beach areas for relaxation and the chance to observe beautiful marine creatures.

You may not have come away to simply spend time in the hotels but you will be blown away by just how impressive the hotels are here. There are usually a wide range of child-friendly facilities for kids so that anytime you are around the hotel they will not get bored. Additionally, it can be easy to get to and from the airport from your hotel when you book a Dubai airport transfer.

There are many fantastic things to see and do in Dubai with the kids and these are just a few of your options. It is an exciting destination that is on the rise and somewhere that is also becoming more affordable which means that an increasing number of families are taking holidays out here and enjoying everything that it has to offer.
