Tara is celebrating the 100th Gallery Theme this week. What an amazing milestone!
The theme this week is “Picture Postcard” and it seemed appropriate that I actually post a landscape. Something that I would love to see on a postcard. Something I would buy and send home to family and friends that says “The weather is here. Wish you were nice” “Having a lovely time”.
This photo was taken during our recent trip to Cornwall and is of a place that we found by accident. But don’t they say that is how the best places are discovered?
A little cove called Mawgan Porth where we sat and watched the sunset after a quick dinner. It was easy to imagine pirates coming ashore here or smugglers with their latest booty.
A truly beautiful spot.
Gorgeous – can I go… NOW?!
Off to Cornwall this summer, after a too-long absence. I think we might seek out this spot, as it looks so peaceful and lovely. Thanks for the tip!
hmph wish I was there now instead of in this office at the back of the building where no sun gets in!!!

*jumps up and down* our holiday last year was in Mawgn Porth. It was SO nearly my choice for this weeks Gallery.
Great little place, fab beach.
Stunning. Just need a campfire and a beer 🙂
Are you sure you took this? Really?? It’s very good! xx

Amazing perspective. Nothing beats a Cornwall beach 🙂
That’s really lovely – I really love the pinky sky. How romantic x
Know it well and love it too…just 30 mins from Dodo Towers…we are so lucky to live and work down here. Great pic and the lighting is awesome.
Stunning shot and aren’t we glad to have such a beautiful country?
