The wonderful thing about being a granny is that you get to see how things have moved on since you were a parent. It’s amazing how things have changed and moved on in the last twenty five years and I am here for it! When I first became a parent I was living in the Middle East and the only skin care product you could buy for babies was Sudocreme,
In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic we welcomed our first grandchild to the world and I got promoted to GrannyBarrow, though I will actually be known as Nanny, and Bruce to Grandad. It feels lovely to now be welcoming the next generation to the world and seeing Lily grow over the past months has been a joy, and has really been what has got us through lockdown.

Kidvelo Balance Bike review (AD)
It doesn’t feel like five minutes since Lily was born and now here she is, old enough to be learning to ride a Kidvelo Balance Bike. Though from the look on Lily’s face she is also struggling to believe she is old enough to be learning too! When your first grandchild is born during a pandemic you realise being a grandparent is not going to be how you imagined it would be. I am trying to keep a sense of perspective about the whole thing. Telling myself that at least Lily Elena, who arrived on May 20th, is safe at home with her mummy (my eldest daughter) and daddy. That they are all safe as they
