There can be a multitude of reasons for people to not be drinking at this (or indeed any) time of the year. Therefore it is really important that we don’t forget to have some low alcohol or alcohol free drinks for them to enjoy.
Seedlip
Seedlip is a staple in our house all year round. Distilled in the same way as gin this is the perfect drink for anybody who loves a gin and tonic but who is the designated driver, or looking to cut back on booze. There are several varieties to choose from and you can buy them in all good supermarkets. I can’t recommend these enough.
Virtue Drinks
Virtue drinks are soft drinks with no added sugar, no calories and no artificial gubbins. They are “clean energy drinks” and come in two flavours, berries or lemon and lime and the energy is derived from a natural caffeine found in green coffee beans. In fact one can has the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee. Plus every can sold contributes to the conservation of plants, animals and communities in the rain forest. You can buy them online from Amazon in trays of 12 for £14.99.
Sobersauce
Sober Sauce stock a range of alcohol free, or low alcohol, beers that they sell in discovery boxes. You can either have a mixed case, or you can buy six favourites and six others that are selected for you. They also have a subscription service too that allows you to discover new beers every month. The 8 pack discovery pack of craft beers is just £19.99 and that includes delivery. All the beers are from craft breweries, many of which you may not have heard of before and have all been delicious. Perfect for any beer drinkers who might be driving, or who just want an alternative soft drink this Christmas.
