Back to school with Letts Revision Guides

Back to School prize bundle

Now that my birthday is out of the way I can think about the whole “Back to School” campaign.  I won’t think about it before my birthday, which falls slap bang in the middle of the summer holidays.  In the same way that I won’t think about Christmas until after half term, despite retails clearing the shelves of weedkiller and solar lights to make way for “seasonal” treats.

I sat down last night to go through the diary with Mr B to try and find a weekend to sneak away and Ellie happened to be in the room with her diary too.  As I went through what was on later this month and early next she said “I am back to school on that day” and it dawned on me that she is now at an age where “Back to School” is not something I am really involved with.

Especially now she can drive.   This will be the first term where I haven’t had to make a note of it so that I can make sure I am around twice a day to do that chore.  It is now all down to her.

As is buying the kit and uniform she needs to be term ready in September.  I just have to fling money at her bank account and let her get on with it, either in town with mates, or online at 3am.    It is good to know though that the rules I have instilled in her do appear to have sunk in.   School bag needs to be strong enough to hold four ring binders, shoes have to be sensible, tops have to be decent, revision guides have to Letts.

There are lots of great books to choose from and Letts has some engaging and motivating learning books to help your child get back into a learning frame of mind. All of their books support the national curriculum so that we know they are reinforcing what our children are being taught at school.

If you go to their website and browse their range of books by age group you can see the ranges on offer. What’s more, they are offering a 30% discount on all books until 30 September 2016 when you use code BACK30 at www.lettsrevision.co.uk

But how would you like to win a £50 bundle of guides, tailored to the age of your child?

All you need to do is leave a blog comment and enter via the Rafflecopter giveway below.
