You’re busy. You have a business to run, the chances are by yourself. You have to do it all, wearing many hats, writing many many lists, juggling your business alongside maybe a family or other commitments and sometimes it feels like the wheels might fall off.
That is where I might be able to help.
The one thing that you have let slide is probably your social media accounts. You just don’t have time for them but people tell you that you need to keep your accounts updated to find new business and keep current clients updated. After all, a social media account that hasn’t been updated for a few months shows people visiting your profile not only have you not updated your page for a while but that your business may have closed down all together.
That is where I might be able to help.
Maybe you just don’t “get” Twitter or Instagram. Twitter is just people shouting into the wind, right? Instagram is influencers posing in swimwear or people sharing pictures of their dinner, right? Wrong.
That is where I might be able to help.
I have been online for over a decade, first on Twitter, then starting this blog, before moving onto Instagram a couple of years later. And whilst nobody really likes to blow their own trumpet I have won awards for my use of social media (back in 2013 I was thrilled to win two Brilliance in Blogging awards, one as me for my social media, and one as part of Team Honk when we did a lot of fundraising and relaying stories from three trips to countries in Africa where we visited projects supported by Comic Relief)
Twitter isnt the cesspit people like to think it is. Twitter can be a great tool for any small businesses, helping you to connect to your customers, show off your company, and to really get your name out there. It is much easier to do that on Twitter than it is on Instagram where sharing is only really possible on stories. You can’t really “go viral” on Instagram but you can on Twitter.
Similarly Instagram, if used correctly, can be a great way to build a community and to show off what it is you do.
Alongside running my own accounts for over a decade I have been running other people’s for the past few years too. Using their tone of voice I have shared their stories, behind the scenes shots, updates on what is happening, reacted to trending topics if they are relevant and might help boost the brand whilst also answering direct questions or messages so customers don’t feel they have been ignored if they get in touch.
If you would like to know more about how I might be able to help run your social media accounts for you so you can focus on doing what you love best, please get in touch. You can email me: tanya@mummybarrow.com or you can find me on Twitter or Instagram.
I can’t wait to hear from you.
