Harry Moseley’s bracelets and shiny new website

If you have read my blog for a while you will know that last year I tipped Wincey Willis off to a competition that Absolute Radio were doing where she could win £10,000 for a charity of her choice.   I picked Wincey because I knew from Twitter that she was heavily involved with raising money with Harry Moseley’s family.

We never expected to win, but win we did and I donated my £5000 winnings to the charity too so that they could make use of the whole £10,000

Up to that point one of the main ways they had raised funds was by selling bracelets that Harry had made himself.    They were sold in shops and businesses, with all money being donated to brain cancer research in the hope that Harry could help his friend Robert get cured.     Sadly Robert died before the campaign started as we all know, tragically Harry lost his fight too.

However, his family have carried on his work and have now registered the charity Help Harry Help Others to carry on the extraordinary work that Harry started.

There have been organised walks for HHHO, sponsored cycle rides and in August of this year there will be a ball.  All with a single aim of raising money.

And with that is a shiny new website where you can keep up to date with all that is going on, and buy your own bracelet, prices starting at just £2.

Can I please ask you to visit and buy a bracelet.   Even if you never wear it (but I hope you will) please do something for this extraordinary cause.

Wincey said at the time of winning in October that we would never forget Harry, never let his memory fade.   By buying these bracelets we are doing something to keep this dream alive.   Finding a cure for brain cancer.
