With all this news of a meteorite falling to the ground in Russia it seemed to make sense that this recently published book be the Mummy Barrow Book Club Selection for March. Alex, our central character is hit on the head by a meteorite at a young age and it quite literally changes his life.
Since coming back from Ghana it has all been about fund raising for Comic Relief. The first of the fund raisers being an epic challenge to climb Snowdon (not by me. I was Chief Clipboard holder at the bottom with all the next of kin numbers). At 4pm on Saturday after seven hours in glorious sunshine (but scrabbling over snow) a small celebration took place.

Earlier in the week I read this story. Mother of eleven has six bed council house built Now I am not going to judge this lady. I know nothing about her and at the end of the day, whether anybody likes it or not, she is entitled to a house. She obviously meets certain criteria set by the Council who have agreed to house her.
